We’ve been working on a new round of gameplay videos lately—and this time, we got to collaborate with a few students from a nearby media program. They jumped in to help with filming, editing, and setting up shots, and honestly, it made the whole process smoother (and a lot more fun).
Filming gameplay always takes more time than we expect—between explaining the rules cleanly, getting good camera angles, and remembering not to bump the table mid-turn. Having a small, skilled team alongside us who were excited to be there made a big difference.
It was also just really cool to connect with folks who are learning the ropes of video production and looking for hands-on experience. They asked great questions, brought thoughtful suggestions to the shoot, and were down to troubleshoot lighting issues and reshoot awkward intros without missing a beat.
We’re excited to start rolling out the finished videos soon—some tutorials, some playthrough clips, and maybe even a few bloopers (because there are definitely bloopers). Big thanks to the students who joined us—we couldn’t have done it without you.
